You articulate what many of us feel. Know that you're not alone in the struggle. I've been reading a devotional lately (Streams in the Desert) that reminds me on a regular basis that spiritual maturity and growth only come through our trials. Our flesh wants to consistently resist the refinement, but our spirit knows it's necessity. Praying for you...keep pushing on. I really enjoy your blog. --a fellow KJ missionary (Amber)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3091798672967924817.post-19312097111298758982015-11-29T07:09:52.473+03:002015-11-29T07:09:52.473+03:00Your post is real, honest, and what you are feelin...Your post is real, honest, and what you are feeling is certainly hard.

Perhaps another way to think about it is that your time in the US is like the mountaintop transfiguration experience, it's so good. Like the disciples, you just want to stay. But the goodness of that experience, the glory of it, was to prepare Jesus and the disciples for what was to come, to give them a taste of the future glory that was coming, but the suffering and the work had to come first.

The mountaintop is so necessary for the recharging. But perhaps you need a bit longer stay than you planned? Can you extend it?

Amidst all the hard stuff about living here, there is one little guy to remember, he wants to see you and give you lots of hugs. He is small, white, and has very little self-control :)Anthonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07500317366078942484noreply@blogger.com
