Adjusting and stuff

Here in the states little over two weeks already... still feeling like I live in two worlds. Still find myself having strange thoughts.... for example "Wow, there are springs in this mattress! Nice!" or "Three loads of laundry done and dry in an hour?! How is that possible?!" or even "What do I do with all these choices of salt? I just want regular salt." I find myself marveling over street lights and how clean everything is.
I know that I need to post much more than this but I'm finding it hard to write, possibly because I'm staying with a 3 year old and a 4 month old....

Playing in the snow, watching the kids while Christina packs and helping with a bit of housework...
